When the Dog Park Becomes a Catwalk
"Customers are talking about it to their neighbors, they are talking about it at the dog park, people just talk about it, it's the talk of the town," said Will Comparsi, owner of the Palm Springs, CA salon. "This is something so new and fresh to the industry."
Working On Her Business
Setting up shop 30 years ago in a tiny portion of an elderly, dilapidated gas station, Beth McElroy's focus was on her passion, grooming dogs. But for this businesswoman, owner of Dog Day Aftergroom located in Monroe, NY, there was more in store.
A Splash of Paradise
"With so many grooming salons in the area we needed something to set us apart," said Andrea Acosta, Manager. "We have found that with Splash and Dash for dogs."
Acosta noted that since signing on with the plan they are not only bathing up to 17 Splash and Dash dogs per day, but foot traffic in the retail store has increased.
